Peer Review Process
Applied Management, Business and Finance (AMBF) employs a strict Double-Blind Peer Review system to ensure academic quality. The editorial process is managed via Open Journal Systems (OJS) and proceeds as follows:
1. INITIAL SCREENING (DESK REVIEW)
Upon submission, the Editorial Team evaluates the manuscript's compliance with the journal's scope and author guidelines. An originality check is conducted using Turnitin; manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% are automatically declined without further review.
2. DOUBLE-BLIND REVIEW
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers. Both the author and reviewers remain anonymous. The assessment focuses on novelty, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and scientific contribution. The average review duration is approximately 12 weeks.
3. EDITORIAL DECISION
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor (with final authority from the Editor-in-Chief) decides on one of the following outcomes:
— Accept Submission
— Revisions Required (Minor or Major)
— Decline Submission
Note: In cases of conflicting reviews, a third reviewer may be appointed.
4. REVISION & RESUBMISSION
If revisions are requested, authors must submit a corrected manuscript along with a detailed point-by-point response to the reviewers' comments. The revised manuscript may undergo a second plagiarism check to ensure integrity.
